Thank you for your interest in the Rutgers University World Languages Institute. Below is the link to the application that details the information and the supporting documents you are required to submit to apply to the Summer Institute.

The World Languages Institute’s programs are highly competitive and the number of participants in each one will be limited. All required forms and documents must be received at the address indicated below. Incomplete applications will not be considered in the review process.

PLEASE NOTE:to be considered for admission to the Spanish Language Program, applicants must have either a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the target language or a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a nonlanguage field and a minor (consisting of a minimum of 18 credits) in the target language.

There is no fee to apply to the World Languages Institute, please do not send any money with your application. If you are accepted to the WLI, you will then be required to complete an online application to the Graduate School-New Brunswick for nondegree graduate study, which requires a $65.00 nonrefundable fee (payable online). Information about the online Graduate School application process, course registration, bill payment and program deadlines will be sent with the letter of acceptance.
