Summer 2013 Lunchtime Programs
The World Languages Institute offers all participants an optional lunchtime program on a wide variety of highly interesting topics.
This summer, we are offering two workshops, one face-to-face and one ONLINE.
We are experimenting with a new format: a WEBINAR!
Come join us in this initial FREE WEBINAR and earn professional development hours from the comfort of your home! Future WEBINARS will be offered at a fee.
Registration is ONLINE. Please click on the links below for the specific workshop.
Location for the face-to-face presentation is Room 110 at the Language Institute/Lab, 20 Seminary Place.
We realize that morning classes go to 12:30 and the face-to-face presentation starts at 12:15. We will ask faculty who teach morning classes to allow students to leave early on the day of the face-to-face workshop.

Then come to the “Cool Tools for Schools” workshop to learn not only the names of the tools but to experience how to implement them for interpretive and presentational assignments which are geared specifically for the World Language classroom. Samples student work will be shown. Applicable to all levels of instruction. |
